Rivers Edge Motel - Louisiana

The room was clean and well-furnished, with a large fridge and microwave that enhanced convenience. Accessing Wi-Fi was generally reliable, and the scenic view from the room overlooking the Mississippi added to the overall experience. The owner displayed genuine hospitality, allowing an early check-in when I needed it after long work hours, which I greatly appreciated.

Some rooms may benefit from updating. The comforters appeared old and pilled.

I had an a double room and it was retro with great views, a variety of birds and bathroom. Location: the hotel was next to the mighty Mississippi, and the Mississippi river.

It's wonderful base for visiting some must see attractions in Louisiana. They serve a great selection of meals, the food I tried was great! Next time in Louisiana, I would come here again.

Couple's charming getaway

The rooms are clean and spacious with nice amenities I used like the fridge and microwave it made things easy. The owner was really kind helped me check in super early when I was worn out from work just charged a couple extra bucks no hassle.

It wasn't the cheapest for a motel but it was worth it.

We were super surprised finding such a cozy spot! The river view was amazing, and waking up to see an eagle outside was just magical. The room was clean, comfy, and had all we needed. They had dog-friendly policies , made it easy for us. Only wish the internet was a bit stronger, otherwise, a perfect stay!

The room was spacious and had a cool retro vibe, complete with a bathroom. 🛁 There were all kinds of birds around, and the views were amazing. Plus, there was a safe in the room for added security. the location was right by the river park, making it even more special and beautiful.

Great location! It's only a short 4-6 minute walk to old town. 🚶‍♂️
